Short Documentary
Edgar Bartenev crafts an epic poem from his exhilarating footage of a group of nomadic Nenets who live in the Siberian tundra at "The End of the World", as the territory is known in the local dialect. They travel hundreds of miles around the region with their herd of reindeer, raise their families as they move across the tundra, and live off the land, seemingly as unaffected by modernity as one could ever imagine.

Z Rock (IFC TV | 20:00) Z Rock is a 10-episode semi-scripted, comedy series that follows a group of musicians leading a double life: by night they’re a hard-partying rock band and by day they’re a Wiggles-style kids’ party band. Z Rock is loosely based on the real lives of its three New York based stars, brothers Paulie Z and David Z, and lifelong friend Joey Cassata and their actual band, Z02, giving a satirical look at the dark underbelly of the rock n’ roll dream. Guest stars include: Joan Rivers, Musicians Dave Navarro, Dee Snider, John Popper (Blues Traveler), Chris Barron (Spin Doctors), Comedians Dave Attell, Gilbert Gottfried, Greg Giraldo, ‘Big” Jay Oakerson, Lynne Koplitz, Patrice Oneal, and Joe DeRosa. IFC Season Premiere on Sunday, August 24, 11:30PM.
